While running on the 2016 engine, Archthrones utilizes modern assets and scripting densities that push the engine to its absolute limit.

Script Density

New areas like the War-Torn Village utilize complex AI logic and draw calls that exceed the base game’s design, potentially causing stutter on older CPUs (e.g., FX-8350).

High-Fidelity Asset

Reimagined zones like the Phoenix Tower use higher resolution textures than vanilla. GPUs with less than 4GB VRAM may experience texture thrashing or crashes.
